Questions

In-cabin dog travel, answered

Can my dog fly in the cabin with me?

Many airlines allow small dogs in the cabin when the dog and carrier fit under the seat in front of you and stay within the airline's limits. Limits differ by airline, so your checklist links to your airline's own policy page.

How far ahead should we start?

It depends on where you're going. Some trips need only a few steps; others involve tests and waiting periods that take months. Start your checklist as soon as you have a destination in mind.

Is Pupperwork official paperwork?

No. Pupperwork is a planning tool. Your veterinarian and the government authorities issue and endorse the actual documents. We help you know what to ask for and when.

Can both of us use the checklist?

Yes. Each trip gets a shareable link so both travelers see the same steps, dates and folder.
